This Blue Cheese Salad Dressing is “Da Bomb”! We are big blue cheese lovers in my family and this dressing is absolutely delicious. Anyone that tries it becomes obsessed with it. It is great on top of salad, as a dip for vegetables, as a dip for chicken wings (Super Bowl Sunday Baby!), I’ve even had a friend put it on pizza. I can not take credit for coming up with this recipe, it comes from The Taste of Home Cookbook (I have made a couple of adjustments), but I would like to introduce you to your new favorite salad dressing.
Recipe adapted from: The Taste of Home Cookbook
2 cups mayonaise
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 oz freshly crumbled blue cheese
In a bowl add all ingredients except blue cheese.
Mix until thoroughly combined.
Next add freshly crumbled blue cheese, and mix in with the dressing. I always buy a block of blue cheese and crumble it myself, its more fresh and creamy compared to the containers of crumbled blue cheese.
Spoon the dressing into a container and refrigerate.
